Mindo is on the western slopes of the andean mountainrange and already cconsidered cloud forest. It is part of the “Choco zone”, which means incredible diversity in flora and fauna. This area is known for its orchids and birdlife. Great for either a day excursion from Quito or those who love hiking and nature can decide to explore the area and its different altitudes during several days.
