Zona de Gu^aacute;pulo

This zone is of colonial style where various charms blend harmoniously. Beautiful landscapes and historical topographical and cultural sights such as the Virgen of Guapulo, which is most antique and precious sightseeing spot in Ecuador.

This tourist area is located at just 15 minutes on foot from our Hostal.

Parque "El Ejido"

This is a cultural park where you can find fine arts and paintings, as well as traditional folclore pieces from local artists. El Ejido blends the city's antique and modern charm into one place. During the weekends you can take a stroll down the park and buy paintings, jewelry, ponchos, vests, among other novelties.

The fairs at this park are held every saturday and sunday, and is located within 5 minutes by taxi from our Hostal.

La Casa de la Cultura Benjamin Carrion

This is one of the most important tourist centers in Quito. Here we find important museums, galleries and theaters where several cultural events are held and organized throughout the year. While you visit the "El Ejido" park, you can walk right in to this grand building.

El Teleférico

Located within 20 minutes by taxi from our Hostal on the west side of town, this new entertainment facility has it all. Choose from different services such as food, fun, comercial and cultural areas as well as a grand view of the city from the top of the mountain.

It is located near the La Gasca Ave. Area and can be reached by car or bus on the main Occidental Ave. highway going southbound.

La Mariscal

This is the newest and most popular Entertainment area in the city of Quito. It is sometimes refered to as "La Zona" or the zone as you can find various services such as restaurants, bars, karaoke, special performances on special days. And during the day you can also find comercial and cultural areas, arts & crafts shops and travel agencies to complete your Ecuador experience.

The Andean Travel Company offers special rates to Galapagos, Cotococha, and other great getaways in the country.

You can get to The Zone La Mariscal by foot within 10 minutes from our Hostal.

Terminal Terrestre "El Cumanda"

This is the main bus terminal in Quito. Here you can begin your journeys to everywhere in Ecuador.
It is located at the Maldonado Street N.3077, in the Historical Center. The distance from our Hostal to the Terminal is within 20 minutes, just past the "El Ejido" park.

Centro Historico de Quito

Considered Cultural Patrimony for Humanity, before and after its restoration, it is one of the most attractive, beautiful and important areas in the city. It lavishes itself with unique areas, extraordinary architecture dating back to the Colonial era. You can spend several days visiting the various churches, museums, plazas, memorable parks, galleries, restaurants, and more. You can also visit the "Palacio de Carondelet" which is the presidential house and maybe even presence an oficial act or change of guards.

The Downtown area is located within 20 minutes by taxi from our Hostal.
